Meet the team

Kia Orana, I am Mux and I’ve been a barber for 5+ years.
I became a barber to learn not only about hair, clippers and making money but to learn about myself and to grow as a man and to listen to other life’s experiences.
Favourite eating spot probs just eat the seafood from across the barbershop, they got the best chilli raw fish.
1 fact about me is I enjoy cooking and spending quality time with the people that mean the most to me.

Sup guys my name is Adam also known as AP or Cutsby (Cuts-bee) by some.

I’ve been with Twosevenfive for 2 Years and counting. Growing up getting a haircut was luxury and since I wouldn’t get them much I decided to start cutting my own hair. In 2016 I got my first pair of clippers and started cutting my family and friends hair in my back yard. Fast forward to today barbering, has been my full time job for the last 3 years.

My go to food spot at the Māngere town centre is Jolly goods, IYKYK. I enjoy playing chess in my spare time and trying new food spots I’ve seen on Tik Tok.

Shout out to the WAHS!!! Lets trott.

Hi guys, my name is Feni.

I've been apart of the Twosevenfive barber team for around 2 years now and am loving it here. I first picked up the tools because I was interested in the craft and then accidentally fell in love with the trade and have been doing it ever since.

Fun fact about me is I can eat a big mac faster than anyone in the world.

Hey, my name’s Jimbo. I’ve been cutting hair for 5 years and have been with the shop for about 2 years now.

My go-to feed at the town centre is a snack box from Jolly Goods – can’t beat it.

Fun fact: I’m a bit of a musician on the side, so if you ever catch me drumming on the countertop, just know the beat’s always fresh.
(not as fresh as you’re gonna be in the chair)

Sup guys, my names Maeka, people know me as Maeks or Barbermaeks.

I started cutting my brothers in the garage in 2021, joined barber school in 2022, and have been cutting in a shop since late 2022. I’ve been with Twosevenfive barbershop since October last year, come a long way but still got a long way to go.

To be honest, the only reason I started barbering is because I dropped out of school and needed something to do, barbering was an option and so I took it. Along the way I picked up the passion for it and have set myself a long term plan to make the most of it.

1 fun fact about me is that I like drawing and consider myself the best in my age group currently in Mangere.

Cheeaa oua. Biography stuff ay.

Talofa lava! My name is Niva and I’m a self taught braider.

I learnt when I was very young, being the eldest of 5 it was a given so I practiced on myself and soon began to braid my family. I stopped for a while and recently picked it back up in university 2 years ago where I grew a passion for it and decided to turn my hobby into something I could make an income out of.

From there I joined Twosevenfive July of 2023 and have enjoyed the environment a lot.

My go to lunch time spot at the town centre is the fruits and veggies aisle in countdown, I enjoy keeping my culture alive through dance and recently toured South Korea with my cultural academy.

Hope to see you in the shop soon!
